This is the first start in IROC for Dale Earnhardt in 1979, racing for the continued IROC 1980 Season. The Orange car was always painted #12, The remade tribute car was #5 for Mario Andretti, Dave Marcis and Dale. They were promo show cars.
There is no known photos of the real car on track in 1979.
