In March of 1998, the career of Darrell Waltrip looked like it was about to end, but DEI contacted him to drive the #1 Pennzoil Monte Carlo after Steve Park was injured during practice in Atlanta.
In his time in DEI, Darrell Waltrip revived his career finishing 1998 with 13 starts, including one top 10 finish at Pocono and one top five at California.
After his tener with DEI, Waltrip continued to race until year 2000.
We used Revell´s 1998 Monte Carlo to create the decals.
