What about the #54 SLAYER Camaro that NASCAR refused to run? \n \nBack in 2019, a collaboration was announced between the legendary metal band SLAYER and Rick Ware Racing, in which driver JJ Yeley was incredibly excited to be showing Slayer´s iconic logo on his car. In a Tweeter post presenting the paint scheme of the car, Yelley comented: “I am super pumped to have the legendary metal band, Slayer, on my Rick Ware Racing No. 54 Chevrolet for one of the greatest races of the year, the Bristol night race! Being able to showcase the legacy that Slayer has created over the past 40 years is a true honor.” \n \nAfter that efussive announcement, everyone was excited to see the car on the track, but just a few days later, the team pulled Slayer as the primary sponsor of the car “due to reactionary concerns”. All Slayer visuals were removed from the car and PODS Moving & Storage Took the primary sponsor place, using the numbers and background graphics from the SLAYER original scheme! \n \nWe created the decals using a Powerslide 1:24 2019 Camaro resin, which is based on a diecast. \n \nBuild your own replica of this awesome looking and special car!
